The 2008 Finca Valderoble is a blend of those varieties aged for 12 months in new French oak. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it displays an alluring perfume of pain grille, espresso, exotic spices, lavender, blackberry, and blueberry. In the glass it is ripe, pure, and pristine with savory flavors and excellent volume. Give it 3-4 years and drink it from 2014 to 2023+. Finca Valderoble is a project of Jose Felix Callejo (of the Callejo estate in Ribera del Duero) started in 2004.
