This red from Bodegas Fontana is a good value. The 2003 Fontal Crianza is a blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 12 months in American oak. Dark ruby-colored, this nicely extracted wine exhibits generous red currant aromas and flavors. It is just a bit muted in the finish which held down my score.
