The white 2015 Carmen is pure Sauvignon Blanc from one of the warmer and driest years on record. It finished fermenting in 500-liter oak barrels, where it was kept with lees for six months. It has a creamy nose, where the varietal is not obvious, coming through as fresh with some herbal aromas. The palate showed some citric flavors with good acidity and some toasted notes in the finish. A remarkable effort. 2,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2017.
