Smooth-textured on the palate with savory flavors and a bit of underlying structure, it is an elegant offering that displays excellent balance and length. It proffers an already complex nose of earthy minerals, Asian spices, incense, leather, lavender, and assorted black fruits. Velvety-textured, spicy, and layered, it has enough underlying structure to evolve for 2-3 years. The finish is seamless and lengthy. This nicely rendered effort will deliver optimum drinking from 2015 to 2025+. It is easily the most expressive of the trio (2004 was a great vintage) with a charming perfume of exotic spices, incense, violets, mineral, black cherry, and blackberry. Lush, deep, and lengthy on the palate, it has the structure to evolve for another 4-5 years and will be at its best from 2015 to 2029.
