The 2007 Venta La Ossa is a blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Syrah, and 5% Petit Verdot fermented and aged in new French oak for 12 months. Dark ruby-colored, it emits a pleasing aromatic array of Asian spices, black cherry, blackberry, violets, and mineral. Smooth-textured, forward, and sweetly fruited, it has good length and 1-2 years of aging potential. Drink it now through 2017.
