The 2019 Ercavio Selección Limitada has a very traditional profile, with ripe fruit, 14.5% alcohol, generous spiciness, a polished palate and clean and focused aromas and flavors. It matured in used French and American oak barrels for 18 months. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2022.

The 2017 Ercavio Selección Limitada has a much more developed profile, with an orange color and a tertiary nose with hints of brick dust, forest floor and truffles, reminiscent of a traditional Rioja. Nevertheless, it's pure Cencibel, the local strain of Tempranillo, that matured in used French and American oak barrels for 18 months. It's ripe at 14.5% alcohol, and the tannins feel polished. Ready to rock and roll. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2020.

The developed and tertiary 2016 Ercavio Selección Limitada has been polished by the élevage in oak and time in bottle. It presents a brick color and a complex nose where the influence from the oak is still noticeable in a more commercial way, also possibly from a different winemaking era/mentality, as it's released almost four years after the harvest. The palate is polished and sleek, with some creaminess and a mouthfeel and finish that would please consumers of traditional Rioja. It was bottled in September 2018.

The difference between the Roble and this 2015 Ercavio Selección Limitada is the source of the grapes but mostly the élevage, which here is extended to 12 months, making an homage to the tradition from Rioja. This is the most classical wine. Aging was in a mixture of French and American oak barrels. It has red cherries and some sweet spices and a juicy palate with fine-grained and polished tannins. Ripe with tension. 20,000 bottles were filled in September 2017.

The 2014 Ercavio Selección Limitada is pure Cencibel, the name of the local Tempranillo strain from La Mancha. It fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in a combination of French and American oak barrels for 12 months. This is possibly the most classic of the wines produced in the winery, a wine with slightly longer aging in barrel, notes of licorice and berries easily recognizable as Tempranillo from Spain. The palate is very tasty, with some dusty tannins, spicy flavors and a long finish. 20,000 bottles produced.
