The 2006 Fincas de la Villa Gran Reserva had a very young cork, as if it had been recorked. It's a classical, developed and tertiary Rioja with some notes of old oak, with a classical label and the golden wiring and everything. The palate is polished and light, with some tannins, moderate freshness and persistence. I'd drink this sooner rather than later. 40,000 bottles produced.
