They had a lot of issues with the 2013 harvest, with abundant rain in October, and they didn't produce a Reserva or Gran Reserva. A modern blend of Tempranillo with 6% Graciano and 4% Mazuelo, the 2014 Reserva matured in oak barriques for 20 months and in bottle for a further 17 months before it was released. It's quite smoky and balsamic and has traces of cigar ash and incense with hints of cured meat and a twist of cereals/corn. It has good acidity and freshness, fine tannins and a soft texture, very approachable. 400,000 bottles produced.
