The 2004 Crianza is 85% Tempranillo and 15% Garnacha aged for 12 months in French and American oak. Dark ruby-colored, it gives up an enticing nose of cedar, tobacco, spice box, cherry, and blackberry. This is followed by a medium to full-bodied wine with ample ripe fruit, light tannin, and spicy flavors. Well balanced and with good length, it will evolve for 2-3 years and drink well through 2020.
