The 2012 Conde de Valdemar Crianza feels rather oaky, with balsamic and smoky aromas and has quite a commercial profile. The palate is medium-bodied and harmonious with oaky flavors and a fine texture. 700,000 bottles produced.

The 2010 Conde de Valdemar Crianza is a rich, powerful and palatable Crianza, with a deep color, lactic, spicy and red and black fruit notes in the nose and a polished palate with a spicy finish. Drink 2014-2017. The 2007 Crianza is made up of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Mazuelo aged for 15 months in French and American oak. The aromatics are slightly reticent but in the glass it opens to reveal savory flavors of black cherry, cinnamon, and clove. The tannins are ripe and the finish seamless.
