The 2018 Shiraz Old Vine is dense and chewy at this stage, and the tannins are still absorbing into the fruit. However, the fruit is excellent and shows the life and energy and vitality of the 2018 vintage. Give it some more time to harmonize; it's on its way there now.

The 2007 Old Vine Shiraz was sourced from a 70 year old estate vineyard in Blewitt Springs. It was partially barrel-fermented in new French oak with the balance aged in seasoned French and American barrels. A glass-coating opaque purple in color, it offers up alluring aromas of lavender, game, licorice, plum, and blueberry.
