The 2009 Pinot Noir Pequenes Producciones was made with 20% whole clusters and was partially native yeast fermented before aging in French oak. It sports an inviting bouquet of wood smoke, rose petal, Asian spices, incense, vanilla, and black raspberry. This is followed by a full-bodied, structured wine which is not yet revealing its full potential. Give it 2-3 years to blossom and drink it from 2015 to 2021. At that time my score may seem conservative. Vina Casas del Boque’s estate encompasses over 500 acres with production of over 70,000 cases annually. By Chilean standards, it qualifies as a boutique winery.Importer: Vinocopia, Richfield, MN; tel. (612) 455-4000
