From a classic vintage, the 2019 Chianti Classico Riserva Clemente VII (made with 100% Sangiovese) is layered and generous with lots of dark fruit, ripe cherry, grilled herb and freshly tilled soil. This wine shows solid consistency, good structure and freshness. This bottle sets itself up for a pairing of grilled pork or lamb chops. Production is 40,000 bottles.

Showing some ripe, red cherry aromas from the start, there's no mistaking the 2015 Chianti Classico Riserva Clemente VII as anything but a proud Tuscan wine from a warm and sunny vintage. The wine radiates sweet and ripe cherry fruit with soft tones of blackberry and plum at the back. The effect is simple and one-dimensional, and this is a go-to for any tomato-based pasta with shaved Parmigiano cheese on top. Some 30,000 bottles were made.

The 2013 Chianti Classico Riserva Clemente VII is a mid-weight Tuscan red (made with 100% Sangiovese) with a bright bouquet composed of wild berry and red rose aromas. Those aromas are stitched together with care, creating a silky succession of Sangiovese-driven flavors. The wine is polished and subdued in texture. It is aged in equal parts botte grande and barrique. Some 40,000 bottles were made.

The 2010 Chianti Classico Riserva Clemente VII is a dark and savory expression with thick extraction and bold cherry-blackberry flavors. Those fruit nuances are folded within thick layers of spice and tobacco. This is rich and well proportioned Chianti Classico that finishes with fresh acidity and an attractive level of chewy density. The tannins are well integrated to give the wine firmness without the astringency.
