This cuvee is meant to be a step up from the regular Crozes-Hermitage, but in 2004 it’s different but not really any better. Subdued oaky spice and prune notes on the nose; it is softer and rounder than the regular cuvee, finishing with a burst of pepper and acidity. ——J.C.(11/15/2006)—— 85
