The 2011 Reserve Shiraz Viognier displays a deep garnet-purple color and notes of crushed blueberries, blackberries and plums with suggestions of licorice, chocolate and marmite toast. Medium to full-bodied, it offers ample black fruit and baking spice flavors in the mouth with a solid backbone of crisp acid and medium-level grainy tannins, finishing with persistent anise and clove hints. Drink it now to 2017+. Centennial does not currently have a US importer.

Medium garnet colored, the 2008 Reserve Shiraz Viognier (5% Viognier) gives a good intensity of perfumed blackberry and black cherry fruit with an undercurrent of lavender, violets and the vaguest suggestion of peach blossom. Medium to full-bodied with very high acidity, it has a medium level of fine grained tannins and a long finish. Drink it now to 2015. Centennial Vineyards currently does not have a USA importer.

The 2007 Reserve Shiraz Viognier is very deep garnet in color, possessing a pretty nose of blackcurrant, coffee, anise, mace and milk chocolate with a touch of violets. Crisp acidity and a medium level of fine tannins support the layers of berry and spice flavors. Very good balance. Elegant style in spite of the full body. Long finish. Drink now to 2017.
