The 2018 M de Malle Blanc gives up intense scents of lime leaves, green mango and lemongrass with touches of broom and coriander seed. Medium-bodied, the palate has a wonderfully crisp backbone cutting through the intense citrus and savory layers, finishing with great length.

The 2016 M de Malle Blanc felt a little anonymous on the nose and it was difficult to eke out specific aromas. The palate is well balanced with green apple and a touch of white peach, quite elegant in style with satisfying weight on the finish.

The 2015 M de Malle Blanc has a lovely bouquet: pink grapefruit, apricot blossom and citrus notes all very well defined. The palate is well balanced with crisp citrus fruit, real tension and animation here with a linear, steely finish. What a great dry white from de Malle - chapeau!

The M de Malle Blanc 2014, the dry white Sauternes from Chateau de Malle, is too primal on the nose to comment upon. The palate is showing good potential with citrus lemon, slightly bitter perhaps, lime zest and Granny Smith apple. There is appreciable length here so it should be worth seeking out after bottling.
