Chateau La Croix

La Croix is a twenty-five-acre vineyard in Catusseau, opposite La Croix Saint?Georges and Petit-Village. It belongs to the Janoueix family, also the owners of La Croix Saint-Georges and some ten other Pomerol, Saint-Ernillon, and Castillon properties. Originally from Correze, the Janoueixes, like the Moueix family, have been big players in Libourne since the early twentieth century. Their wines have come a long way over the past decade and now rank as very good Pomerols indeed.
