A blend of 70% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2022 Le Pin Beausoleil expresses a slightly oaky bouquet with graphite, licorice, cassis and dark berries. The palate is medium-bodied, juicy and long with a tense finish provided by calcareous soil.

From an ambitious, over-performing six-hectare estate situated on the clay-limestone plateau of Saint Vincent de Pertignas, the 2021 Le Pin Beausoleil is a medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless wine evocative of dark berries, loamy soil and cigar wrapper. Planted at high density with an appreciable percentage of Cabernet Franc, élevage is in 225- and 400-liter barrels, some 40% of which are new.
