A bright, vivid, black-fruited wine, which brings out a fine tobacco scented streak of Cabernet Franc to go with the rich Merlot. The tannins are there, but balanced with the rich, dried fruits, the spice and the new wood. Worth aging for 3–4 years.——R.V.(6/1/2009)—— 90
