The 2012 Alto Adige Pinot Bianco Thurner sees fruit sourced from the Appiano and Cornaiano areas at 450 to 550 meters above sea level. The wine is streamlined and tight with cool-climate tones of green apple, pear, melon and lasting mineral nuances. There’s a very distant touch of sweet spice at the back. This Pinot Bianco should endure a few years more.

The 2010 Pinot Bianco Weissburgunder Thurner is full of freshly cut flowers, white peaches and spices. The delineation of the aromas and flavors is very nicely done in this understated, medium-bodied wine. Clean veins of minerality lend an attractive energy to the finish.
