The 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo is true and dear to the fundamental character of this mighty Piedmont grape. The Cordero di Montezemolo 2018 Langhe Nebbiolo is a fine and delicate wine with simple aromas of wild strawberry, rose hip and tilled earth. If you spend a little more time in front of the glass, that earthy aroma transforms into light truffle and licorice. You get lots of varietal purity in this wine, although the philosophy here is to underline the fun, immediate and accessible side of this noble grape from Piedmont. The wine is made with fruit from young vines from across the various estate vineyards.

The 2017 Langhe Nebbiolo is made from a collection of fruit, amassed from all the estate vineyard holdings (including those in Alba and Roero), from vines under ten years old. Lower temperatures are implemented during winemaking to give this expression a fresh and forthcoming personality. The wine's aromas are nicely focused on wild berries, rose and light licorice.
