Notes of peach, pear, orange oil, white flowers and toasted nuts preface the 2019 Pouilly-Fuissé, a medium to full-bodied, ample and lively wine that's pure and penetrating. As usual, it derives from a multitude of small parcels within the commune of Chaintré.

Revealing aromas of golden orchard fruit, honeycomb, white flowers and fresh pastry, the 2018 Pouilly-Fuissé is medium to full-bodied, bright and lively, with a nicely defined core of fruit, lively acids and an elegantly saline finish. One of the more youthfully reserved of Cornin's 2018s, it will really unwind after a year or two in the cellar.

Revealing aromas of waxy citrus rind, pastry cream, fresh pear and confit lemon, the 2017 Pouilly-Fuissé is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and textural, with considerable concentration and chewy extract. It's a nicely balanced, age-worthy effort that derives from fully 36 parcels in the appellation, boasting an average vine age of around 75 years.

From fully 30 parcels of old vines within the commune of Chaintré, the 2016 Pouilly-Fuissé exhibits enticing aromas of orange blossom, yellow orchard fruit and mint. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, glossy and textural, with a generous core of fruit and a flavorful, mineral finish. It's already quite approachable this year.

The 2015 Pouilly Fuisse is a blend of several plots from around the village of Chaintré and is matured mainly in tank. It has a straightforward, clean, lightly honeyed bouquet with just a hint of yellow flower and freshly baked popcorn. The palate is fresh on the entry with a keen line of acidity. I appreciate the tension here, very harmonious and quite complex, the finish offering subtle orange rind and quince notes. This is a very well-crafted Pouilly Fuissé that comes highly recommended.
