This négociant has turned out a seductive 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Grand Vin from a largely tank-aged (there are some new barriques in the mix) blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% each Counoise and Mourvèdre. Black cherries, red raspberries and vanilla notes appear on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is lush, creamy and even a bit decadent, with plentiful but ripe tannins and a long, silky-textured finish.
