The entry-level red from Alta Mora is the 2019 Etna Rosso, made with 100% Nerello Mascalese from the Contrade Solicchiata, Verzella, Guardiola and Feudo di Mezzo. You really can't go wrong with a fun and lively red such as this. The bouquet is perfumed, immediate and fruity with wild cherry and cassis. I like the aromatic intensity of this vintage. To the palate, it is mid-weight with a short but fresh finish. These qualities make it a good food choice. Production is an ample 70,000 bottles.
