The still unbottled 2022 4 Kilos was surprisingly fresh and floral, from grapes harvested early and quite quickly, fermented with 60% carbonic maceration and the rest with short macerations and then matured in foudre, as they didn't want to put the wine in barrel. I tasted the final blend from a stainless steel tank waiting to be bottled around March 2024, as the winter in tank is going to stabilize it. It's clean, tasty and harmonious, with purity and very fine tannins. Callet takes heat quite well, and it behaved very well in 2022. There should be volume similar to recent years, around 16,000 bottles.
