Medium to deep garnet-purple-colored, the 2010 The Long Road Shiraz gives aromas of warm black currant, crushed blackberries and licorice with subtle hints of black pepper, tar, Provencal herbs and fertile loam. Medium-bodied, the palate lends a good amount of vibrant blackberry and herbal flavors with crisp acid, a medium level of grainy tannins and a long finish. Drinking well now, it should keep to 2017+.
