One of the grapes used in the famous dessert wine, this dry-style from the village of Tokaj has a mixture of fresh, vibrant fruit with a supple, round body. Aromas of tropical fruits, mixed with straw and chalk, continue in the mouth, with some dried apricot thrown in, then it’s brought home by zesty acidity and citrus pith. This could herald a bright future for Hungarian dry whites. Imported by Dreyfus, Ashby & Co.——M.D.(6/1/2006)—— 88
