This will be an estate to watch because of the commitment and talent of the two Burgundians, Jacques Seysses of the Domaine Dujac and Aubert de Villaine of the DRC. They are convinced that these wines represent only a shadow of what this estate is capable of producing once they have total control of the viticultural management and winemaking. Current offerings include a richly aromatic, fruity, medium-bodied, dry white wine, a strawberry, raspberry-scented dry rose with excellent flavor definition and length, and a big, rich, herb, licorice, and cassis-scented, medium to full-bodied Cabernet/Syrah blend that is bursting with chewy, fleshy fruit. The Ugni Blanc and Vin Gris should be drunk before the end of 1993. Importer: World Shippers and Importers, Philadelphia, PA.
