Escaravailles makes two sweet wines, this one from Grenache Noir, as well as a white from Grenache Blanc. While both are impressive, the red is a touch more impressive. Dried black cherries and cinnamon mingle easily in this unctuously textured wine. The tannins give it a richer, more velvety mouthfeel. ——J.C.(11/15/2006)—— 92
