Vaguely floral, with additional notes of citrus and melon, the all-Marsanne 2020 Crozes Hermitage Blanc is a plump, medium to full-bodied wine that satisfies for its silky, expansive mouthfeel and impeccable balance. Drink it over the next few years.

The full-bodied, nearly unctuous 2019 Crozes Hermitage Blanc is rich and broad on the palate, largely neutral, yet delivers melon and stone fruit nuances capped by gentle citrus and anise flavors on the lingering finish. I don't see it as being one for the ages, but it should provide plenty of short-term pleasure.

The 2018 Crozes Hermitage Blanc is a 90-10 blend of Marsanne and Roussanne. Nearly half was fermented and aged in demi-muids, while the rest went into stainless steel. Ripe, round pear and melon notes finish silky and long in this medium to full-bodied effort. It's an easy-drinking, flavorful white to down over the next year or so.

The medium to full-bodied 2017 Crozes Hermitage Blanc is round, expansive and lush, with generous notes of breadfruit, melon and pear. Twenty percent saw new oak, and there's a subtle dusting of pencil shavings on the finish as a result. It's a plush, voluminous beauty for drinking over the next couple of years.

The 2016 Crozes Hermitage Blanc is mainly Marsanne. It spent six months in 20% new demi-muids, with the rest in tank. Citrus and melon notes dominate, with hints of fennel adding a fresh touch. Clean and correct, this medium to full-bodied white should be consumed over the next few years.
