Aromas of wild berries, cherries, sweet soil tones and spices introduce the 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge Vieilles Vignes, a medium to full-bodied, concentrated and vibrant wine that's lively and flavorful, framed by powdery tannins.

Mingling aromas of cherries and berries with hints of dark chocolate and dried flowers, Pillot's 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge Vieilles Vignes is medium to full-bodied, youthfully chewy and nicely concentrated, its generous core of fruit framed by powdery tannins. Rustic but characterful, this is a fine effort.

The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge Vieilles Vignes displays aromas of sweet cherries, soil and warm spices, followed by a medium-bodied, chewy but open-knit palate that will need a few more months in bottle to settle down.
