Already bottled, the 2015 Saint Joseph Domaine Pradelle was aged in a mix of foudre and older barrels; there are roughly 2,000 cases produced. It sports a deep ruby/purple color as well as beautiful notes of Christmas spice, menthol, black raspberries and cassis. Rich, medium to full-bodied, layered, fresh and lively, with fine tannin and solid balance, it's a beautiful St Joseph that needs short-term cellaring and will shine for a decade. It also happens to be a smoking value.
