Notes of sweet berries, red plums and warm spices introduce the 2020 Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes, a medium-bodied, supple and vibrant wine that's bright and saline, with powdery tannins and a long, perfumed finish.

Racier and finer-boned than the dramatic Champs Pimont, Rapet's 2019 Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes Blanc mingles scents of crisp orchard fruit and citrus zest with hints of white flowers and almonds. Medium-bodied, precise and chalky, it's one of the most delicate whites in the cellar.

Like its red counterpart, the 2018 Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes Blanc has turned out very well, delivering an inviting bouquet of pear, toasted hazelnuts, warm spices and lemon oil. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's built around a racy spine of acidity.

The 2017 Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes Blanc is as good as its red counterpart, wafting from the glass with notes of green orchard fruit, ripe citrus, blanched almonds and hints of candle wax. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy but vibrant, with good concentration and depth at the core and a long, mineral finish. This will offer a broad drinking window.
