The 2017 Riviera Ligure di Ponente Pigato is a crisp and luminous white wine to wash down with one of those epic Italian servings of spaghetti alle vongole. There is a mildly floral element to the bouquet that segues to honey and summer nectarine. Like most of the wines made along the stunning Ligurian coast, where a rocky coastline meets beautiful azure waters, this wine is distinguished by a touch of salty marine mineral. Some 50,000 bottles were made.

Crisp and luminous, the 2013 Riviera Ligure di Ponente Pigato is a generous and fragrant white wine with aromas of yellow rose, peach and poached pear. Pigato offers a good measure of aromatic intensity and an equally rich mouthfeel. In fact, this is a Mediterranean white with a thick framework and a glycerine-rich finish.
