A 40/60 blend of Syrah and Cari?ena, the 2012 Sycar les Sorts has very oaky and ripe aromas with a leafy something in the background and palate with relatively simple flavors coated by grainy tannins that give it a harsh profile and an astringent finish. Maybe it needs more time.
