The 2010 Chenin Blanc has a very well defined nose with scents of cooking apple, kiwi fruit and freshly cut grapefruit with fine delineation and focus. The palate is very citrus driven to the extent that it resembles a Sauvignon Blanc. It is very well balanced, enlivening the mouth with subtle spice and candied orange peel towards the finish. This is top-class Chenin Blanc. Drink now-2015. Founded by Ernst and Gwenda Gouws in 2004, this Stellenbosch producer offers a commendable portfolio including some excellent whites. Unaware of the price at time of tasting, I was expecting them to come in around the $25 mark. So at almost half the price these represent great value.Importer: Bronco Wine Company VI III, Napa 877.411.
