The organic Feudo Montoni 2021 Sicilia Nerello Mascalese Rose di Adele shows a light pink or copper appearance with shiny luminosity. The wine is tonic and fresh with sweet grapefruit, peach and fragrant rose. It finishes with a point of mild sweetness and a hint of summer caper blossom. Some 42,000 bottles were released.

Named for the owner's grandmother and mother, the organic Feudo Montoni 2020 Sicilia Nerello Mascalese Rose di Adele shows a slightly exotic personality, with Indian jasmine, clove and Moroccan lemon along with hints of rosebud and dried ginger. The wine is lean and thin to the palate, but the bouquet packs a punch of unexpected freshness. This is a pale pink rosé made with the versatile Nerello Mascalese grape that is today mostly associated with winemaking on Etna, although the grape is found in pockets across Sicily. Some 28,000 bottles were made.

Opening to a pretty pale-pink color, the 2018 Sicilia Nerello Mascalese Rose di Adele is a delicate and fine wine with aromas of wild raspberry, violets and Sicilian almond blossom. This is a compact and lean wine with a steely and linear finish. Pair this Southern Italian rosato with spicy curry shrimp.

The 2017 Sicilia Nerello Mascalese Rose di Adele opens to a delicate pink color with faint copper highlights. This is a well-presented Rosato with fine floral and fruity tones that are delivered with pitter-patter baby steps. The wine's entire performance is irresistible, and those aromas sneak up to you, slow at first but gaining in focus and intensity. This is a terrific, easy-drinking rosé.

You really can't beat this price point. The 2015 Sicilia Nerello Mascalese Rose di Adele is dedicated to Fabio Sireci's mother, Adele, with fruit from 40-year-old head-pruned vines planted by his father. The wine only sees contact with cement vats. It offers balanced freshness with a pretty ensemble of wild berry, blueberry and blanched almond aromas.
