This is 100% varietal, sourced from Stillwater Creek and Rosebud vineyards. It has good concentration and a pleasant mix of stone, pear and fig fruit flavors; barrel fermentation and sur lies aging has added a light layer of butterscotch also. All barrel-fermented in used French oak. This is an elegant sipping wine, and the Semillon shows fig and green plum flavors; it’s much less herbal than Sauvignon Blanc.
