The 2013 Chardonnay opens to a modest nose of fresh apples and peaches with delicate hints of baking bread and almonds. Medium-bodied, it offers a good amount of relatively straightforward stone fruit and apple flavors marked by crisp acidity. It finishes long. Drink it now to 2016+. The 2012 Chardonnay offers notes of fresh grapefruit, lemon zest and orange blossom with a hint of ginger. Medium-bodied, crisp, fresh and youthful in the mouth, it has a nice suggestion of creaminess to the texture and a good long finish. Drink this one now to 2017+. The 2011 Chardonnay has notes of fresh apples, nectarines and lemons with touches of orange blossom and cedar. Medium-bodied and refreshingly crisp in the mouth, it has a good intensity of citrus and apple flavors balanced with judicious use of oak and finishing long. Drink it now to 2015. Sourced off unirrigated blocks of Mendoza clone (Gin-Gin clone) vines within a single vineyard planted in 1999, Fraser Gallop's 2010 Chardonnay gives pronounced notes of ripe nectarines, peach kernels and pink grapefruit with nuances of meal, crushed nuts and orange blossom. Medium bodied, judicious use of toasty oak comes through on the palate matching the ripe stone fruit flavor intensity and enlivened by crisp acidity. It finishes long and creamy / yeasty.
