The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a round, seamless wine. Ripe plums, dark cherries, French oak, licorice, leather and spices flow effortlessly from this opulent red. This shows excellent mid-palate depth and juiciness in a pleasing, accessible style. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017. Grassini is located in Happy Canyon, one of the warmer microclimates in the Santa Ynez Valley and one of the few spots in Santa Barbara County with conditions that are suitable for Bordeaux varieties.
