I am not familiar with other wines from Greenwood Ridge, but this 1990 Zinfandel exhibits medium to dark ruby color, a spicy, peppery, raspberry-scented nose, excellent purity of fruit, medium body, a generous palate impression, and a spicy, moderately well-endowed finish. Tasted But Not Recommended

An earthy, leathery, spicy nose needs to be coaxed from the glass. In the mouth, this wine exhibits spicy, vanillin oakiness, plenty of alcohol, decent fruit, and a lean, moderately tannic finish. Though essentially one-dimensional, it is pleasant.
