This dark wine spent 15 months in wood, broadening the fruit, giving it ripeness. There is a strong line of tannins here, bringing out a dry core, but the black berry fruits remain very present. The final has spice, pepper and a tang of acidity. ——R.V.(3/1/2010)—— 92
