The 2007 ROSE AKAKIES is made from Xinomavro in Northwestern Greece. Rather big for a pink, it has good depth and some grip on the finish, along with nice aromatics and tons of flavor. In fact, as it warms up, it seems to be just bursting with flavor. It is very fruity. There’s a lot here to like, if you like some intensity in full flavored pinks. Drink now-2009.
