From the Kapellenberg and vinified in stainless steel (80%) and large oak (20%), the 2018 (Estate) Riesling fermented to 11.5% alcohol plus 18 grams of unfermented sugar. This is clear, fine and flinty on the precise and crystalline, spicy and (hazel-) nutty nose. On the palate, this is a mouth-filling, well-structured and easygoing Riesling in the off-dry style. The wine has a stunningly refreshing acidity and vitality and is a really pleasant Riesling for many opportunities. Tasted from AP 35 19 in July 2019.
