Somewhat charmless, the 2013 Pinot Noir from Bennett Valley was rather meaty and very tannic.

The 2011 Pinot Noir Los Carneros is explosive in this vintage. Dark red fruit, flowers, new leather, French oak and spices all burst from the glass. A powerful yet juicy wine, the 2011 is endowed with tons of depth and persistence, not to mention terrific overall balance. The 2010 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is an attractive, mid-weight wine laced with sweet red cherries, herbs, mint and dried flowers. Bright floral notes reappear on the finish, giving the wine additional lift. This is an amazing value and a remarkable level of quality considering there are 210,000 cases of this wine.
