Shows delicious blackberry, black cherry, currant and dried herb flavors, touched with smoky oak, and wrapped into gentle tannins. It’s fair to call this a junior version of Lancaster’s more expensive, superb Bordeaux-style wines. Like them, it’s rich in black currant and cedar flavors, and quite tannic, a wine that needs a few years to come around. It’s also a touch more rustic.
