The 2009 Chardonnay Lorenzo Vineyard bursts onto the palate with layers of rich, seamless fruit. Dried apricots, mango, smoke, dried herbs and tangerine are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass. This, too, is totally extroverted in style, but at the same time there is more than enough minerality to balance some of the wine’s more overt tendencies. I loved it. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016. I have been a big fan of the Landmark wines since visiting the winery nearly a decade ago. The Chardonnays in particular remain some of the most fairly priced Chardonnays in California.Tel.
