Medium ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Grand Detour has a nose of rhubarb and cranberries, notes of citrus peel, Angostura bitters and earth. The palate is medium-bodied and silky with plush red fruits and juicy freshness, and it finishes with spicy accents. 1,434 cases produced.

Medium to deep ruby colored, the 2016 Pinot Noir Grand Detour opens with charcuterie and toasty spice over a core of cranberry sauce, red cherries and black berries. Light to medium-bodied with spicy fruit in the mouth, it has firm, grainy tannins and a juicy finish. 1,342 cases produced.

Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Grand Detour has black cherries and black raspberries on the nose with hints of roses, dark chocolate and aniseed. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a generous amount of juicy black fruit and plush tannins, finishing long and lively. 1,260 cases produced.

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Grand Detour displays pretty rose and violet notes with a core of red currants and Bing cherries, plus hints of Provence herbs and loam. Medium-bodied, the palate reveals a nice interplay between the floral, berry and earth characters, supported by fine-grained tannins and finishing with a spring in its step.

The 2013 Pinot Noir Grand Detour is a Sonoma Coast selection showing a dense ruby/plum color, plenty of black cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry notes, earth, spice, and a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. This is terrific Pinot as well that will merit drinking over the next 5-6 years.
