The 2022 Pedestal Chardonnay is a really exciting, delicious wine, with loads of spicy fruit and classy oak shaping the affair in the mouth. Layers of creamy Danish characters, alongside white peach, orchard fruits, nashi pear, a hint of sandalwood… It's really impressive, and I am impressed. I'm glad to find so much joy in this category! This was tasted blind as part of the "Value for Money" tasting in September 2023. RRP $27 AUD.
