Sharp, earthy and herbal, this has more guts than most Sangioveses—that’s the good news—but it doesn’t suggest much of what you might consider true varietal character. This is already quite soft, oxidized and mature. It’s a pleasant take on Sangiovese, absolutely ready to drink and approachable with warm, raisiny fruit flavors.
